Aquí está mi sobrinito-ahijado de un mes de edad. Es la cosa mas preciosa que pueda haber en el mundo. Es mi primer sobrino y el primer niño del a familia, ya que yo había sido el último. Sin dudas que Guille forma parte del nuevo amanecer que hablaba anteriormente. Felicitaciones Euge y Diego por crear algo tan hermoso. Si si soy un tío baboso.... =)

Amanece Montevideo, visto desde la Rambla Sur. En todos los días hay un amanecer, pero ¿son siempre iguales?. Hace 5 años amanecía, tal vez se veía como el de hoy, pero sin dudas era muy distinto. Hace 5 años el Uruguay cambió para siempre, se decretaba el primer feriado bancario. Y desde ahi empezó una época negra para nosotros de la cual todavía no nos hemos recuperado del todo. Mucha rabia, ira, injusticia, desesperación: muchas sensaciones malas acumuladas que se mantienen. Jamás podré olvidar el día en que se fué mi hermano a España. Y como el, miles y hasta el día de hoy siguen. En 2002 se fueron 26mil uruguayos, y el año pasado17mil. Hace 5 años 250mil uruguayos comían en comedores. La BBC de Londres publicaba: "Uruguay, Hambre: niños comen pasto".

Todos sufrimos: los ahorristas que no vieron un peso, especialmente a los del Banco Montevideo, los deudores en dólares cuyas deudas llegan a valores paranormales, los que tuvieron que dejarnos para jamás volver, los miles de desocupados, cada uruguayo que lloró, sufrió o se mató. Todos debemos ver el este amanecer como algo muy distinto a aquel de hace 5 años. Un nuevo amanecer de un país que poco a poco, con confianza en el, irá mejorando. No debemos perder la esperanza, porque cuando la perdamos, ya hemos perdido todo. Inyectemonos optimismo.
